It's probably a lot easier than I think, but I just have this feeling that I'm gonna screw this decal thing up. I've never farted around with decals. A car wash took my rear Nissan decal/sticker, leaving just a black, rubbery backing (you know, in the shape of the word "Nissan"). I bought a new OEM decal from CZP. Does the new decal go onto this black rubber backing? Or wait: Does the rubber backing need to come off? If I use like Goo Gone or 3M Adhesive remover on the rubber backing, won't that start to peel the large full-width black sticker/decal that the Nissan decal (and the "Twin Turbo") itself was attached to? (I do believe this large black strip just above the taillights and below the spoiler is a decal and not paint.) So has anyone replaced a rear decal? If I'm removing the black rubbery backing, what product should I use? Any other tips like what "tool" to use? Thx in advance.
